Let me share a snippet of my recent flight adventure with LATAM Airlines from Bogotá to Lima. Peru has always held a special place in my heart, so despite having visited before, I couldn’t resist the appeal of returning to its fascinating landscapes.
Setting off on a chilly morning in Bogota with a departure time of 5:15 am, I’ll admit, the early start wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. But when the opportunity arises at a good value price, you learn to embrace it, right? With over three decades of flying under my belt, there’s still something magical about the anticipation of take-off, the sky is the limit for me, maybe because the sky does not have limits! Especially as I am always treated to the unparalleled views from an airplane window seat.
The journey clocked in at a mere 2 hours and 50 minutes, promising to kick-start my day with lots of enthusiasm.
Intrigued by the prospect of enhancing my travel experience, I opted for LATAM’s Premium Economy. Why? Because as someone deeply immersed in the world of flight management, I understand the value of providing travellers with top-notch experiences. And let me tell you, Premium Economy with Latam Airlines did not disappoint!
From the nice-looking front row seats with an empty middle seat to priority boarding and a selection of complimentary snacks and beverages, every detail was nicely prepared to elevate my journey.
Yet again! The icing on the cake? Exclusive access to the LATAM airport lounge in Bogotá. Reserved solely for international departures, this hidden gem offered a haven of comfort and convenience amidst my very early wake up. Open 24 hours a day, the lounge treated me to a varied hot and cold buffet breakfast, complete with vegetarian and vegan options too (which is rare!), alongside cosy seating areas and shower facilities.
The lounge has a prime location just steps away from the security passport area, the pre-flight rituals were indeed a breeze.
From start to finish, flying with LATAM Airlines on board the Airbus 320 was an enjoyable travel experience.
