Love Is Not For Sale: art, live music, poetry, exhibition, dance, DJ.

The cool, gentle breeze of London transported me to a hidden place where beauty lay beneath a thick door of surprises. It was a Saturday night of community gathering.

Upon opening, I uncovered a magical sight: a blend of art, colours, and universe, acknowledging the significance of local shades. The walls were adorned with mystical pieces portraying the vast expanse of the universe and its infinite wonders.

Last night, love was not a commodity! As a collective, we united to share our talents and embrace the essence of love, challenging oppression not with weapons, but with art and community. With hearts filled with joy, we came together to celebrate unconditional love.

Amidst the natural sounds of our ancestors, the night was blessed, opening our hearts to the gift of music, the rhythmic drumming of our ancestors, masterfully woven by Julio’s gifted hands and voice.

As everyone entered the room last night, warmth and love permeated, manifesting in hugs, sounds and clapping emotions that transcended beyond words.

The rhythmic artistry of Capoeira manifested, a testament to the resilience of enslaved Africans. Tonight, it smoothly blended as a fluid art dance, brought to life through drumming, voices, and movements, unavoidably spreading contagious and powerful energy!

The moments continued with the spirited, impassioned words of Loudspeka, igniting the ambiance powerfully with a sense of urgency, rhythm, and protest. Then followed by the enchanting voice of Alna Katianaite that brought waves of serenity to everyone’s spirit, a joyous pause of calmness and contemplation to an already vibrant night. Such a beautiful blend of her voice and guitar playing.

The Witchas’ rhythmic beats of the drums connected me to those tales of powerful women, the embodiment of complex love, The Snake Woman, sharing through words the energy of the full moon and the majesty of earth’s mountains. These stories, like fables, transported my mind into a resonated message of enduring strength: Las Witchas

The night unfolded gently, allowing me personally, to release the past burdens of my week and transform them into expressions of joy, voice, sound, and the welcoming warmth of this dancing community fire.

💛💙❤️Celebrating moments with my sisters and brothers from Las Witchas, Akola Tambo , Luz Mira Zerpa. 💛💙❤️

My heart overflows with gratitude for a night that had touched my soul deeply, reminding me that love is not a commodity but a cherished gift never to be taken for granted.

Lots of Love

From ❤️

Jenny
